Our facial paralysis program offers options for patients both in the acute and residual phases of facial nerve paralysis such as Bell's Palsy or Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

During the acute phase, we offer an initial screen to ensure that the patient is properly medicated and educated in eye care strategies. We also offer prognostic ENOG testing which can indicate the patient's risk of developing residual problems. In the acute phase, Integrative Manual Therapy techniques are used to alleviate ear and facial pain.

During the residual phase, most patients are treated with EMG biofeedback, some manual techniques and occasionally with electrical stimulation.
